After a drink filled night
I took a stroll through the park
A man sits alone half a bottle down in the dark
And so I, I sat down beside him
Ask him what he was doing there
He just said with a smile as he poured me a cup
He said I've fallen off the wagon again
Drifted from shallows to the deep end
Oh and time hasn't been a friend of mine no
Well I've fallen off again
And it's a long way down
A few months went by
I was the morning train home
Had his head bowed down on the floor
And so I asked him how he'd been
What place he headed for
And this look came over his face
One I'd seen before
He turns around and says
Man.....I've been doing it real hard
Ain't got no home to go to
No no no no no no
But I'm a, I’m a let you in on a little secret man
Don't be a fool like me don't ever let the reins
Go no no don't let em go oh no
Coz I've fallen off the wagon again
Drifted from shallows to the deep end
Oh and time hasn't been a friend of mine no
Well I've fallen off again
Woooooo
And now I find myself
I said I find myself walking in the same line
Preaches of the fallen
Should’ve held them closer, closer to mine
I've fallen off the wagon again
Drifted from shallows to the deep end
Oh and time hasn't been a friend of mine no
Well I've fallen off again
And it's a long way down
The best Winger album since "In the Heart of the Young". Seriously. This band channels a mix of classic Winger, Journey, and "Owner of a Lonely Heart" style Yes. It's an incredible mix and I can't stop listening to it. Well played, Station! Nick
